as the breeze of life blows...

As compared to the past, fashion has corroded. It seems to me that the current fashion trend is the more revelations the better, the shorter the skirts the better. It is sad to see the society eroding, the values corroding, the rampancy of pornography and nudity. And it seem to me that people are like parading their bodies away, revealing here revealing there. Where is the chastity and modesty that ladies are supposed to protect?

Sadly x10000, it seems to me the society is beginning to see woman as REALLY commercial (sexual if you want to use a stronger word) products. Look at normal products, like cookies and stuff, some you will see a woman there and it seems to me that they are advertising the woman not the cookie. Look at the society now, look at the way advertisements are made, look at how people on the streets act, LOOK! It is bad, corroded, rotten, and dying.

And yet society girls are like embracing this NEW value, and worst they don't seem to be aware! All some seem to care about is just to look nice and yet they don't know what is the significance behind.

Do they really know what is happening? Why do they not want to be viewed as God's creation, to be loved and protected and not otherwise? Are you adding salt to the rotting wound?

It is not wrong to want to dress to your best and look pretty / handsome. But is it worth it at the expense of modesty and chastity? In addition, what image do you want to portray to other people, friends and outsiders alike. Are you distracting others by wearing too little and revealing too much? Have you evalued yourself before going out of your room?

Are you really aware of how you dress? Are you aware of the significance? Or are you blindly following fashion? Do you even know? Is it worth it to look so called nice but at the expense of modesty, chastity and purity?

You are not your own; your were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body

I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.

Our beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.
