The Heartache of Christ

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, humbled himself 2000 years ago to become a servant, a shepherd and died for us all. You, me, everyone. He died for all. He took away our sins and made us righteous in His life offering to God.

Now though exalted and glorified, Jesus wants us to embrace Him. To embrace Him and love Him and adore Him. Because He loves us so much. But He will never force us to love Him. For love can never be forced. He wants us to willingly love Him from a pure heart, not only because He died for us, but also because of all that is Him, everything of Him.

As much as He wants everyone to love Him, talk to Him, run to Him, it is just not possible sometimes perhaps. Not everyone will receive His love, His sacrifice. Not everyone will. And it makes Him sad. For as much as He wishes everyone to embrace Him, there is nothing He can do. Nothing at all.

Perhaps this is the heartache of Christ. I understand. A little at least.

*Sad Smile....
