Chesed is love to one's neighbour, manifesting itself in righteousness, love which has its roots in the knowledge of God, and therefore is connected with “the knowledge of God.”Not mere head knowledge of God, but the true knowledge that touches the heart and the soul about God's love and goodness. (Hosea 6:6)
