Daniel's Birthday Celebration at Bugis Chong Qing Ma La Hou Guo!
The cell decided to have a belated birthday celebration for daniel last friday, which is good friday itself. Booked the place previously and upon arriving with benfoo to confirm the reservation, this is what we saw:
Wa piang! So many people queuing sia! The queue extended almost to the road la! Overlapping the neighbour stall! Seriously! The food must be super good la! here is the main stall Zao Pai:
So off we go for the dinner and the food is really good! A price of $18 dollars, free flow of drink, waterchest nut and lemonade (high class k not plain water), free flow of toilet paper (Useable ones la, not tissue paper, but good enough), and toilet no need to pay money! seriously! Good service by the lady, no need to ask to refill soup, she will come over and check occasionally. Then the food ah, fantastic i tell you. the tom yam soup is tok gong ah! And the salted vegetable also! Photo of the soup:
It was so nice la! Seriously! Much better than SEOUL garden lo seriously! But minus point is that it is a bit warm outside, compared to Seoul garden, and not much desserts. Yeah. And then me and eugene decided to pay $5 to change the soup base to Ma la and yao Chai soup, cos i want to try the ma la soup base. In the end it was quite bad la seriously, it was so peppery, and so hot! Burns the throats and numbs the lips lo seriously. Jia lat is the word. I only ate the vegetable in the soup and i give up liao! haha! Next time if you go try the tom yam base! Nice! Here is the Ma La Soup base for your info:
