Meeting up with secondary school friends.
Last thursday night, met up with my closer secondary school friends. They are my friends for what say, 9 years already man. haha. Saw them, all quite okay actually, still about the same old them. Nothing much changed. One of them is in NUS doing life sciences, one of them graduating le from NTU Business, then another of my friend doing business also in an external university. Everyone is almost the same. yeah.... haha....
Another person in this gathering is my secondary school English and form teacher. She really taught me a lot and who i am today is partly because of her. Then when i see her, i sort of got a culture shock man. She gave birth already and her girl is 2 years old already. Not culture shock because she has grown so much compared to last time, but rather the things she have gone through when she had her girl. A tough pregnancy she had, and then waking up every night definitely cos her baby girl will wake up and she will have to feed her. Alone with her husband in Guangzhou with her baby girl, and the maid. Having post natal depression. Really man.... having a kid is no joke. If you all think that get married is so called fun and having a kid is no problem, think again man seriously. Seriously. Sounds so scary sia.
But glad that she made it. And she is going for a second one. All the best Mrs. Ong!
